Shripal Patel, OTR, completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science at Mount Mary University. Patel is NBCOT certified since 1999 and has worked in skilled nursing facilities, acute care, long term acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient therapy. She shares that she chose her field because she loves working with people and connecting with them, and she particularly enjoys helping patients figure out how to do something independently and functional after an illness or injury.
When Shripal is not at the clinic with patients, she can be found attending exercises classes at her local YMCA - cycle and weight lifting especially - and hanging out with friends, or family. She is a longtime member of the PTA board for her son's school and is currently the New member/recruiting coordinator for her son's boy scout troop! She is passionate about holistic health and supporting the environment. Shripal would like patients to know that she is flexible, easy-going, easy to talk to, and aims to always have a smile on her face. She truly loves to discuss what issues patients are dealing with so she can find a solution for them.
