About Us

Greater Therapy Centers provide skilled physical and occupational therapy services to individuals suffering from pain or injury affecting the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments. Founded by experienced therapists, GTC began serving patients in 1997. GTC now has over 30 locations throughout the DFW area.

GTC offers specialized orthopedic and sports injury services at conveniently located sites in the DFW area. Working with a referring physician, GTC develops a custom treatment plan designed to decrease or eliminate pain, improve strength, and return patients to their prior lifestyle as quickly as possible.

Richard Kelly and Dena Aitken, therapists working in the fields of physical and occupational therapy, had a vision of a different kind of therapy environment—one that was relaxed and provided evidence-based treatment in a therapist and clinical-driven setting. In the summer of 1997, they acted on their dream by founding the Greater Lewisville Therapy Center.

Encouraged by patients having a good experience and positive outcomes and the enthusiastic support of the local physicians for their concept, Richard and Dena opened a second center in Plano, Texas. Today, GTC operates  30 centers in DFW area cities each operated by a licensed therapist and a staff that focuses first on patient needs and comfort.

Richard and Dena continue to manage GTC and hope to expand their vision into other Texas communities in the future.

Greater Therapy Centers provide skilled physical therapy, occupational therapy, pelvic floor therapy, aquatics therapy vestibular therapy, and dry needling services to individuals suffering from pain or injury affecting the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments.GTC strives to be the premier provider of physical and occupational therapy in the DFW area.

Our therapists apply professional techniques and utilize state-of-the-art tools to ensure that patients recover function and receive relief from pain as quickly and efficiently as possible.
