Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise and Health Science in 2013 from University of Nebraska in Lincoln, prior to earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 from University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist via the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Andrew joined the GTC team in 2016! Having participated in many sports growing up, he developed a passion for weight training that led him to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
While Andrew's experience is primarily in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, he has a wide range of clinical experience ranging from working with farmers and ranchers in rural Nebraska to working at a training center with athletes from the NFL, US Olympic team, foreign national teams, and youth sports leagues. Andrew loves working with patients of all ages and with various orthopedic conditions, but he has a particular passion for working with recreational athletes.
Getting people out of pain and back to the activities they love and enjoy is Andrew's daily motivation. Andrew is inspired by the extraordinary design of the human body, and the body's amazing ability to adapt! He enjoys getting to show patients what they can be capable of again when recovering from injury or surgery.
In his free time, Andrew can be found spending time with his wife Amber, friends, and family, and participating in recreational sports and church activities.
