Kathy Van Leeuwen, OT, CHT, earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Kansas. She completed her Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) in 1998 and has been loving her continual growth in hand/upper extremity rehab ever since.
Kathy finds treating her patients' complex injuries to be fascinating and fulfilling. Her favorite part of her job is the constant learning that happens when working with people and their injuries. Kathy and her family moved from Illinois to Texas in 2017 and enjoy living on a ranch with their dogs and chickens... She says she doesn’t miss the Chicago winters at all! When she is not in the clinic, Kathy enjoys running, cooking, and traveling with her family.
