Jarod graduated from Texas A&M University with his Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Physiology and Theories of Motor Control prior to moving to Fort Worth to complete the UNT Health Science Center's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He was named the recipient of the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence there and completed his doctorate in 2014. In June of 2015, Jarod joined Greater Therapy Centers!
Jarod's focus is Orthopedics with an emphasis on spinal manipulation, dry needling, and management of athletic injuries. His certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association allows him to easily bridge the gap between rehab and return to sport. Jarod shares, "The two most important things a health care provider can do are educate patients and put their hands on patients in a healing manner. These are two treatments that you can always expect as a patient of mine." He has trained through Kinetacore and The American Academy of Manipulative Therapy to perform dry needling, and is well trained in spinal manipulative techniques through the Manual Therapy Institute and the International Spine and Pain Institute.
Jarod is married to fellow Texas Aggie, Rachelle. They enjoy traveling, visiting family in College Station and San Antonio, TX, staying active and exercising, and attending Christ Chapel Bible Church.
