Sue Williamson, OT, CHT, joined the Greater Therapy Centers team in the Fall of 2024 and sees patients at both the Forney, TX clinic location and the EDGE therapy clinic in Frisco, TX. Sue completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at University of Kansas and has worked as a Certified Hand Therapist or CHT since 2000. To obtain the CHT credential, a hand therapist must practice for a minimum of three years, accumulating at least 4,000 hours of treatment for hand and upper extremity disorders. CHTs must also pass a rigorous certification exam to demonstrate their competency to obtain their designation.
Sue has extensive experience with both static and dynamic custom splinting. Over the course of her career, she has worked in outpatient settings, inpatient facilities, and in home health care.
