Heather McLaughlin, PT, DPT, completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She specializes in Orthopedics. Heather always knew she wanted to work in the medical field, and wanted to be a part of patients' journey to feeling better and healing in order to be pain-free with full mobility. She became interested in PT after growing up and being involved in Tae Kwon Do, as well as playing volleyball and basketball, and having an interest in sports and movement.
Today, her favorite part of her daily work is communicating with patients, building rapport, and learning more about their past experiences while also helping them recover through some of the toughest parts of their lives. She plans to pursue pelvic health or neurological physical therapy in the future.
In her free time, Heather enjoys going to the lake, watching OU football, and baking.
