As physical therapists, we are facilitators of movement and recovery. One of my greatest joys is working in partnership with patients to help them regain their mobility and return to the activities they love, promote their independence, and educate them on how to prevent re-injury.
David graduated from DePauw University (Greencastle, IN) with a degree in Economics and Business and from The University of Indianapolis with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
David has been a physical therapist for almost 30 years and began working at Greater Therapy Centers in 2017. After graduating from PT school, he worked in an outpatient chronic pain and industrial rehabilitation clinic where he treated patients with neck and back injuries using manual therapy, exercise, and work hardening. He then served as the Director of Rehabilitation and Respiratory Services at an Indianapolis area hospital where he was responsible for day to day and strategic operations for Physical and Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Respiratory Therapy for 22+ years. During that time, he also developed expertise in ergonomic analysis and became certified as a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt to facilitate performance improvement activities. David and his wife moved to Fort Worth in late 2016.
David has been involved for many years with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) at a local, state, and national level. Currently, he serves as a delegate to the national governing body for the Texas Chapter and a Nominating Committee member for the Health Policy and Administration Section of the APTA.
David is involved with his church as a member of the Men’s ministry, Wellness Committee, and choir. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, reading, outdoor activities, travel, and spending time with family.
