Danielle is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Personal Trainer from Los Angeles, California. She prides herself on providing evidence-based treatment plans using a multimodal approach to optimize quality of life, and decrease the risk of injury. As a movement enthusiast, Dr. Pera devotes her time to helping her patients restore function and improve confidence with activity while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Danielle values empathy and compassion during patient care. She establishes interpersonal relationships to help her patients achieve their personalized goals as quickly and safely as possible.
Dr. Pera graduated Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science, Clinical Health. She played soccer, softball, and volleyball at elite levels, and spent a summer abroad in Spain. Danielle transitioned into coaching young athletes, promoting injury prevention routines to optimize skills and achieve peak performance at competitive levels.
Danielle earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from West Coast University. She completed 51 weeks of clinical rotations in Texas, with 36 weeks of outpatient orthopedic experience. She has worked with a multitude of patient populations including musculoskeletal, athletes, pediatrics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neurological, cardiopulmonary, chronic pain, and vestibular. After PT school, Danielle relocated to Texas to expand her career as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
In her free time, she loves to hang out with her family, venture outdoors, play sports, and snuggle her dog, Yoda!
