Bethany earned her BS in Exercise Physiology from Texas Tech University in 1991, and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in 1995. In 2013, she joined the Greater Therapy Centers team. She has worked in a variety of settings, but the majority of her experience is in Orthopedics.
Whether she is in the gym or spending time outdoors, Bethany loves to stay active! She enjoys visiting the park with her teenage son to kick around the soccer ball, playing with her dog, riding horses, shopping with her husband, and traveling! Bethany says, "Being a very active person, I’ve had my share of injuries. To me, there is nothing worse than being told you need to stop doing something you enjoy in order to allow healing to occur or prevent further injury... I’ve become very creative at times in finding ways to maintain my activity level while allowing injuries to heal. I strive to do this for my patients as well!"
Through activity modification, continuing education, and balancing muscle strength and improving biomechanics, Bethany's goal is to return patients to the activities they enjoy and improve their overall quality of life!
